Client and event overview
One summer, countless moving parts and Ethical Staffing teams working across some of the biggest events in the UK. Our 2025 festival staffing season took us from Glastonbury Festival to Boomtown, alongside events spanning music, film, heritage and live entertainment. Across the season, our event staff delivered everything from internal traffic management and gates to box offices, cashless support and visitor experience. It was busy. Very busy.
Keeping Glastonbury Moving
At Glastonbury, our teams took on one of the less visible but hugely important parts of the festival operation: internal traffic management.
Glastonbury transforms Worthy Farm into a temporary city, with artists, suppliers, contractors and crew all needing to move around an incredibly busy site.
Our staff supported vehicle movements and access routes, responding to changing priorities while helping keep people moving safely.
It was a huge operation — and one our team was incredibly proud to deliver.
Gates, Box Offices and Cashless at Boomtown
Then came Boomtown.
Across the festival, our teams supported gates, box offices, general stewarding and cashless systems, putting Ethical Staffing right at the heart of both the arrival experience and wider site operation.
Our staff also worked alongside event technology specialists Weezevent and Kaboodle, helping deliver the technology and systems festival-goers rely on throughout their weekend.
Boomtown is big, theatrical and brilliantly unpredictable — which makes experienced festival staff who understand the site particularly valuable.
The Outcome
From Festivals to Hot Air Balloons And the summer definitely didn't stop there. Our teams returned to Love Saves The Day at Ashton Court, continuing our longstanding relationship with Bristol-based producers Team Love. At Longleat, we supported Icons of the Sky, where hot-air balloons, aerial displays and live entertainment took over the Wiltshire estate. We also supported Bristol Film Festival and the National 12 Bell Contest — proving that no two Ethical Staffing deployments look quite the same. Bring on the Next Season Different clients. Different sites. Very different briefs. What connected them was the people delivering them. From traffic management and ticketing to gates and visitor experience, 2025 demonstrated exactly how diverse festival and event staffing can be. And after another packed summer, there was only one thing left to do: start getting excited about the next one.
