Client and event overview
There’s something pretty exciting about working on the very first year of a brand-new event. In May 2026, Ethical Staffing headed to Stoneleigh Park for the inaugural Great British Farm-Fest - and what a first year it was. More than 50,000 people came through the gates across the weekend for a new event bringing together the best bits of a country show, food festival and music festival. Our job? Getting them through those gates.
50,000+ People, One Brand-New Festival
Spread across 300 acres, Farm-Fest brought the countryside to life on a huge scale.
Jeremy Clarkson, Kaleb Cooper, Lisa Hogan, Charlie Ireland and Adam Henson joined farmers and producers from across the country, while the music programme included Sophie Ellis-Bextor, Groove Armada, 10cc, The Shires and Chris Moyles.
Add livestock, tractors, food producers, fairground rides and thousands of visitors into the mix and you've got a very busy Bank Holiday weekend.
First Impressions at the Gates
Our Ticket Scanning & Wristbanding team worked across the festival entrance, scanning tickets, directing visitors and helping answer questions as people arrived.
Being at the gates means being part of someone's very first experience of an event.
So while speed and accuracy matter, so does the welcome.
Our experienced ticket scanning staff helped keep people moving while providing that friendly first point of contact — particularly important when everyone, from organisers to attendees, was experiencing Farm-Fest for the first time.
The Outcome
Here's to Year One We work across established festivals that have been running for decades, but there's something particularly rewarding about helping bring a completely new event to life. And with 50,000+ people through the gates in its first year, Farm-Fest certainly started with a bang.
