Client and event overview
A look back at the sites, teams and partnerships that shaped Ethical Staffing's year, from the first new brief to the last gate of the season.
New ground, and the trust that came with it
The year included work we have written up individually. Event Staffing at Silverstone: Campsite Management at the 2026 British Grand Prix was campsite management at the British Grand Prix. Internal Traffic Management at Glastonbury Festival was about keeping a huge site moving. Supporting the Independent Festival Sector: Ethical Staffing at AIF Festival Congress 2026 put us in the room with the independent festival sector we staff all summer.
Ticket Scanning at The Great British Farm-Fest, A Longstanding Partnership with Shambala: Taking on the Box Office, Lighting Up NBA London: Promotional Staffing at The O2, Supporting Visitor Experience at Bristol Cathedral and Travel Advisors Supporting Bristol’s Broadmead Bus Changes all sat in the same year. Different briefs. The same job underneath: people who turn up briefed, stay useful, and represent the event properly.
The work that does not show up on the poster
A lot of the work never appears on the poster. Sustainability Ambassadors at Massive Attack x ACT 1.5 needed people who could make a recycling plan work in a crowd. Gate teams, ticket scanners, box office staff and campsite teams did the hours that hold an event together.
What a Summer: Celebrating Ethical Staffing’s 2026 Festival Season looked at the festival season on its own. The rest of the year was the same idea at a different scale: learn the site, do the brief, and leave the client confident enough to ask again.

The Outcome
Being asked back, and being trusted with a first.
The year did not turn on one event. It turned on being asked back, and on being trusted with a first. The detail lives in the individual stories linked above. If one of those briefs looks like yours, tell us about the event.
Services Used
The 2026 stories draw on Festival Staffing, Campsite Management and Sustainability Teams.
Campsite Management

Frequently Asked Questions
What does this end-of-year reflection cover?
It pulls together the Ethical Staffing stories we published about 2026, from new sites such as Silverstone and Glastonbury to work we were asked back to do. It is a look across the year, not a replacement for those pieces.
Which events are included?
The published stories cover the British Grand Prix campsite at Silverstone, internal traffic at Glastonbury, AIF Festival Congress, Farm Fest, Shambala’s box office, NBA London at The O2, Bristol Cathedral, a Bristol City Council travel team, and sustainability ambassadors at Massive Attack x ACT 1.5. The festival season has its own round-up.
What stayed the same across those briefs?
The events changed. The standard did not. Teams were briefed, they knew what the site needed from them, and they represented the event to the people coming through the gate, the campsite or the queue.
Where can I read the individual stories?
Each one is linked in this article, and they all sit on the news and success story sections of the blog. Start with the festival season round-up if you want the summer in one place.
How do I talk to Ethical Staffing about 2027?
Tell us about the event, the dates and the roles you need covered. We will come back to you about whether we are the right fit. The contact page is the simplest way to start.
